Delivery and Returns


Order and Delivery

Once you have placed your order on our website we will send you a confirmatory email.  Please read through this to check that the items listed are correct.  We will also send you an email once your items have been dispatched.  

UK shipping: (excludes Channel Islands and Isle of Man): We offer FREE STANDARD UK DELIVERY for all items. Items should normally be delivered within 2-4 working days, but delivery times may be longer for some areas (e.g. the Highlands and Islands of Scotland).

We charge £5.99 for EXPRESS DELIVERY, generally sent by Royal Mail 24HRS or by courier, depending on the size of the item (excludes Saturday and Sunday and Scottish Bank Holidays). If ordered on a week day, dispatch will be the same day if ordered before noon or next day if ordered later, if ordered at the weekend shipping will be on the following Monday.

We also offer SUPER-EXPRESS delivery (a next working day if ordered before noon delivery courier service) for £14.99.  Give us a call or leave a message (see contact link above) if you need things more urgently and we'll see what we can do.

We're sorry that due to the shipping costs we are charged this excludes the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

European shipping, Channel Islands and Isle of Man: We routinely deliver to the EU, Norway and Switzerland.  Delivery charges are by weight - for items under 2kg we charge a flat rate of £20, while heavier items are charged at £55.  Please email us for a quote if you'd like delivery to a country outside of this list.  For EU customers, please note that retail packages must pass local Customs before being delivered and this can sometimes take several days.  Our prices for items being shipped to the EU do not include UK VAT, but local import duties and tax may be charged at Customs and are payable by you.

Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada: We charge a flat rate of £35 for items under 2kg and £95 for heavier items.  We are unable to ship luggage and airbag canisters.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply your goods within a reasonable time period, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders can be cancelled by you at any time and a full refund given.

Cancellation and Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase so we offer a 35 DAY RETURNS policy, which allows you to return your purchase within 35 days of the date of order (Christmas Purchases - returns period is extended to 31st January for all purchases from 14th November until 25th December).

Returns:  To return any item please post to the address below with the return form that was sent with the item - if you have misplaced the return form you can print it in pdf format here.  We strongly recommend that the items are sent via a tracked delivery service as the goods will be your responsibility until they reach us. Please return the items to us as soon as possible, but at the latest we should receive them within 35 days of you placing your order (31st January for orders during the Christmas period from 14th November to 25th December).  Return postage is payable by you.

It's important that returned items and their packaging are in the best possible condition and suitable for resale, so please take reasonable care of them and  return in the original packaging with all tags attached.  Packages must be properly wrapped to avoid damage with no return or shipping labels attached directly to the product i.e. helmet boxes which are viewed as part of the product.  Products returned damaged in these circumstances will not be refunded or have a reduced refund to cover damage.

General return terms and conditions: Please note we are only able to accept for return items that have not been worn (except for reasonably testing for fit), and which are not soiled, altered or used. Unless faulty or not as described, we cannot refund or offer an exchange on personalised or made-to-measure products, unsealed CDs, DVDs, tapes or other recording media, software or video, or goods combined with other goods after delivery so that they become inseparable.  We're unable to accept order cancellations for these products.

Climbing Safety Equipment (PPE): Safety equipment can be returned but on strict conditions. Equipment must be returned as received with all labels tags and undamaged packaging on the product. If the product is returned not as supplied or looks like it has been used in any way the product will not be refunded.

We shall reimburse to you all payments received for returned items, excluding any fees that we have charged you for premium method delivery costs, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we received the goods back or of you providing evidence of having returned the goods. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.  Goods returned outside the 35 day return period will only be accepted at our discretion, any refunds accepted outside of this period will be refunded by voucher.
