Head VICO MIPS Ski Helmet

The VICO delivers outstanding head protection from the park to the piste and into the backcountry. Armed with Venturi Effect venting, an ergonomic neck gator, and cosy ear cuffs this new school helmet delivers safety and comfort by the bucket load. By adding MIPS, an additional low-friction layer is integrated into the helmet, which is designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain in the case of angled impacts.

    • IN-MOLD TECHNOLOGY - The shock absorbing inner EPS layer of this technology is injected into the hard outer polycarbonate layer to create a single comprehensive unit that provides perfect protection at a reduced weight.

    • MIPS - The MIPS Brain Protection System is a helmet-integrated, low-friction layer designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head.

    • HEAD 3D FIT - Head 3D Fit allows an exact horizontal as well as vertical adjustment of the helmet to the shape of your head.

    • MICROFUR EARPADS - Microfur is both warming and comfortable on the skin. It is perfect to keep your ears warm during cold days.

    • THERMAL VENTILATION - Thermal Ventilation is our automatic ventilation system which leads warm air away from the head to the outside without allowing any cold air to the inside.

    • VENTURI EFFECT - The Venturi Effect creates the ideal inner helmet climate. It does so when air passing over the helmet draws out heat and moisture for the inner shell.

    • REMOVABLE NECKGATOR - These neckgators can be removed to suit the variable weather conditions and for cleaning.

    • BEANIE LINER - The soft Microfleece material of the Beanie Liner adapts perfectly to the head and thus avoids any bruises and the unpleasant entering of cold air. Molded-in mesh zones let heat and moisture escape to the outside and, together with the ventilation system, ensure a pleasant head climate.

    • REMOVABLE EARPADS - The washable earpads of this model can be taken out to suit the variable weather conditions and for cleaning.

    • EN 1077:2007 CLASS B - EN 1077 is the European standard for ski & snowboard helmets, taking into account the results of collision tests to ascertain dampening and puncture resistant qualities of the outer shell. Class B of this certificate certifies helmets with soft ear protectors.

    FREE STANDARD UK DELIVERY for all items. Items should normally be delivered within 2-4 working days.

    EXPRESS DELIVERY ​is available for £5.99 sent by Royal Mail 24HRs or by courier depending on the size of the item (excludes Saturday and Sunday and Scottish Bank Holidays). If ordered on a week day, dispatch will be the same day for orders placed before noon or next day for orders placed after noon. If ordered at the weekend shipping will be on the following Monday.

    We also offer SUPER-EXPRESS delivery (a next day delivery courier service if ordered before noon) for £14.99. Give us a call or leave a message if you need things more urgently and we'll see what we can do.

    We're sorry that due to the shipping costs we are charged our UK shipping prices exclude the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

    EU, Norway, Switzerland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man

    Delivery charges are by weight - for items under 2kg we charge a flat rate of £20, while heavier items are charged at £55. Please contact us if you'd like delivery to a country outside of this list. For EU customers, please note that retail packages must pass local Customs before being delivered and this can sometimes take several days. Our prices for items being shipped to the EU do not include UK VAT, but local import duties and tax may be charged at Customs and are payable by you.

    Rest of the world

    For Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada we charge a flat rate of £35 for items under 2kg and £95 for heavier items. We're sorry, but we are unable to ship luggage and airbag canisters.
