LIGHTWEIGHT, VERSATILE CLIMBING BACKPACK FOR ALPINE ACTIVITIES

The versatile TRAD 28 are robust, lightweight climbing backpacks for alpine tours that require clever functions and light weight.

The lid compartment has a key holder and space for small items, while the main compartment can be easily accessed via the large opening at the top or the circumferential zipper. On the outside, 420D Ripstop Material with 88% recycled polyamide protects against scuffing in craggy rock terrain. Material loops and ice axe and rope fastenings mean equipment can be securely carried without being unnecessarily bulky. The comfortable back system optimally distributes the load across the back and makes the backpack a pleasure to carry, and the aluminium frame can even be removed for climbing. And the length of the back is designed to keep the neck free during climbing, when you have to keep looking up. Hydration system compatibility, an emergency card and a chest strap with a signal whistle round off these versatile climbing backpacks.

BACK SYSTEM: HIGH FLEX CONTACT

The back system for this climbing backpack offers a light-weight, removable aluminium frame and a full-contact carrying system. The frame is very flexible, but rigid along the horizontal axis in order to bear as much weight as possible. Thanks to its 3d shape, the backpack fits closely to the back and guaranties great freedom of movement and the best possible wear comfort.  

The Trad 28 is a REGULAR sized backpack.  The REGULAR BACK SYSTEM may be used for a back length from 42 cm to 50 cm.*  To determine the back length, use a measuring tape to measure yourself from the top of the hip bone up to the 7th cervical vertebra (it clearly protrudes).

FREE STANDARD UK DELIVERY for all items. Items should normally be delivered within 2-4 working days.

EXPRESS DELIVERY ​is available for £5.99 sent by Royal Mail 24HRs or by courier depending on the size of the item (excludes Saturday and Sunday and Scottish Bank Holidays). If ordered on a week day, dispatch will be the same day for orders placed before noon or next day for orders placed after noon. If ordered at the weekend shipping will be on the following Monday.

We also offer SUPER-EXPRESS delivery (a next day delivery courier service if ordered before noon) for £14.99. Give us a call or leave a message if you need things more urgently and we'll see what we can do.

EU, Norway, Switzerland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man

Delivery charges are by weight - for items under 2kg we charge a flat rate of £20, while heavier items are charged at £55. Please contact us if you'd like delivery to a country outside of this list. For EU customers, please note that retail packages must pass local Customs before being delivered and this can sometimes take several days. Our prices for items being shipped to the EU do not include UK VAT, but local import duties and tax may be charged at Customs and are payable by you.

Rest of the world

For Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada we charge a flat rate of £35 for items under 2kg and £95 for heavier items. We're sorry, but we are unable to ship luggage and airbag canisters.
