The Ortovox HAUTE ROUTE 30S has been around almost since the birth of ski touring. Ortovox's enduring classic is perfect for longer ski excursions.

Cordura®, PFC-free double-layered Polyamide 420D Oxford and PU coating on all fabrics make the Ortovox HAUTE ROUTE 30 S extremely scuff and water resistant. This backpack fits perfectly thanks to its load control cords and ergonomically shaped O-Flex-2 back system with S-shaped stabilizer, which distributes weight evenly between the hips and the shoulders, even over lengthy periods. The hip fins connect inside the back system so that they wrap comfortably and seamlessly around the body. The HAUTE ROUTE 30 S has a specially designed shortened back system for smaller people.

With its larger capacity of 30L, the HAUTE ROUTE 30 S has space for all you may need. The spacious main compartment is accessible from the top and back, which means all backpack contents will be easily accessible, while a separate safety compartment provides rapid access to emergency equipment. Thanks to the rope attachment on the lid, you can pack and unpack your rope without having to open the backpack. In addition to the crampon fastening, ice axe and hiking pole fastening and fixed helmet net, there are also fasteners for a snowboard, for example. Skis can be fastened using either the classic or diagonal method.

No matter how long and challenging the tour, the HAUTE ROUTE 30 S will equip you well for any multi-day tour.

The S sized backpacks are optimised for Women or Men with short backs, the Short back system is ideal for a back length between 36 - 44 cm. To determine the BACK LENGTH, use a measuring tape to measure yourself from the TOP OF THE HIP BONE UP TO the 7TH CERVICAL VERTEBRA (it clearly protrudes).

EXPRESS DELIVERY ​is available for £5.99 sent by Royal Mail 24HRs or by courier depending on the size of the item (excludes Saturday and Sunday and Scottish Bank Holidays). If ordered on a week day, dispatch will be the same day for orders placed before noon or next day for orders placed after noon. If ordered at the weekend shipping will be on the following Monday.

EU, Norway, Switzerland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man

Delivery charges are by weight - for items under 2kg we charge a flat rate of £20, while heavier items are charged at £55. Please contact us if you'd like delivery to a country outside of this list. For EU customers, please note that retail packages must pass local Customs before being delivered and this can sometimes take several days. Our prices for items being shipped to the EU do not include UK VAT, but local import duties and tax may be charged at Customs and are payable by you.

Rest of the world

For Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada we charge a flat rate of £35 for items under 2kg and £95 for heavier items. We're sorry, but we are unable to ship luggage and airbag canisters.
