The ultra-light and technical Ortovox ASCENT 32 is perfect for demanding days in the mountains. Ortovox have focused on what’s important and thought through every detail.
This backpack is abrasion resistant but extremely light thanks to the nylon 100D Robic Ripstop. Despite this reduction in weight Ortovox have still ensured high wear comfort: the foamed 3D back system distributes the weight evenly between the hip fins and the padded shoulder straps. Features such as the circular zipper that provides quick access to your equipment, a map compartment, hydration system compatibility, as well as a diagonal ski attachment, an ice axe holder and a rope fastening, make the backpack what it is: a technical, ultra-lightweight backpack for challenging ski tours.
The ASCENT 32  also includes the Ortovox emergency card:  in the case of an emergency, the card provides information about the injured person and therefore allows for faster and more efficient treatment.

Sizing: the 32 is a Regular sized backpack will suit back length 42 to 50 cm. To determine the BACK LENGTH, use a measuring tape to measure yourself from the TOP OF THE HIP BONE UP TO the 7TH CERVICAL VERTEBRA (it clearly protrudes).

EXPRESS DELIVERY ​is available for £5.99 sent by Royal Mail 24HRs or by courier depending on the size of the item (excludes Saturday and Sunday and Scottish Bank Holidays). If ordered on a week day, dispatch will be the same day for orders placed before noon or next day for orders placed after noon. If ordered at the weekend shipping will be on the following Monday.

We also offer SUPER-EXPRESS delivery (a next day delivery courier service if ordered before noon) for £14.99. Give us a call or leave a message if you need things more urgently and we'll see what we can do.

EU, Norway, Switzerland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man

Delivery charges are by weight - for items under 2kg we charge a flat rate of £20, while heavier items are charged at £55. Please contact us if you'd like delivery to a country outside of this list. For EU customers, please note that retail packages must pass local Customs before being delivered and this can sometimes take several days. Our prices for items being shipped to the EU do not include UK VAT, but local import duties and tax may be charged at Customs and are payable by you.

Rest of the world

For Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada we charge a flat rate of £35 for items under 2kg and £95 for heavier items. We're sorry, but we are unable to ship luggage and airbag canisters.
